American Oak veneer with a 10% two-pack finish by .

This natural veneer was selected by our clients in leaf form early in the project. Trying to achieve the most natural finish & to avoid continuity between each sheet they opted for a complete ‘mismatched’ layup. 👌

We’ve recently finished these huge
American Oak bi-fold window shutters at Namarong House, Armadale.

We were originally asked if we could make these out of solid timber however opted for a veneer substrate due to being so exposed to sunlight & moisture & the fact timber is so prone to movement.

All edges were clashed in 20mm solid timber for durability & fixing of hardware before being finished in a 2pack paint to match our customers desired finish.

Site measuring these were critical to assuring we achieved the correct margins in window reveals that were definitely not square!

Another good result thanks to the guys involved!
