New Arrival: A rare wall-mounted Coat Rack produced by Gucci, Florence, Italy, c1970s. The coat rack features an assortment of finely cast silver-plated pewter animal-form hooks — including stag, rabbit, boar, and hound motifs — characteristic of Gucci’s country and botanical inspired homewares of the period. The hooks are mounted on a shaped leather-covered backboard, which has been sympathetically reupholstered at some point in its history. The reverse retains its original velvet fabric backing together with the Gucci label, preserved from the original front leather covering.
