Reflecting on the journey, Jeff spoke not only of the four years dedicated to bringing Maritima to life, but also of his enduring connection to Brighton. As guests enjoyed champagne and canapés, the Maritima Clubhouse became a space for conversation, connection and discovery. We’re pleased to share that Ace Hotel Sydney has been recognised as a winner in the Boutique Hotel category of Spice’s Hot 100 Hotels & Venues for 2026.

Developed by Golden Age Group in partnership with Ace Hotel / Atelier Ace, the project reflects our long-term commitment to creating destinations that contribute meaningfully to the cultural and architectural fabric of the cities in which we work.

Set within the revitalised heritage-listed Tyne Building in Surry Hills, Ace Hotel Sydney brings together adaptive reuse, considered design and contemporary hospitality to deliver a precinct that is both globally recognised and distinctly connected to Sydney’s creative identity.
