Job Summary:
We are seeking a skilled and motivated Boilermaker or Second Class Welder to join our team in Kilsyth. The successful candidate will be responsible for a range of fabrication, welding, and fitting tasks across our diverse project portfolio. While formal qualifications are preferred, candidates with significant experience in MIG welding and strong mechanical knowledge will also be considered.

Key Responsibilities:
• Perform a variety of welding applications, primarily MIG welding.
• Fabricate, assemble, and install metal components and structures.
• Read and interpret technical drawings and specifications.
• Carry out repairs and maintenance on equipment and machinery.
• Maintain a clean and safe work environment.
• Work effectively as part of a team.
• Follow instructions accurately and efficiently.
• Occasionally work on site, as required.

• Qualified Boilermaker, Second Class Welder.
• Experienced Candidates:
• Extensive experience in MIG welding.
• Sound mechanical knowledge.
• Ability to work independently and as part of a team.

• Current manual driver's license is an advantage.

ST Engineering based in Kilsyth is looking for a mechanical fitter to join the team, qualifications not necessary but must have good mechanical skills. Role would involve the following.
Fitting body’s to new truck chassis’s being hook units, compactors, skip units and a verity of special builds.
Removing and refurbishing body’s ready for new chassis.
Repairs and maintenance to the above type bodies.
Candidate will need to have good English, be well presented, able to work in a team environment, be self motivated and have a clean work ethic.
This is a role with plenty of variety. Is a full time casual role on a 4 day week leading to a full time permanent position after trial period.

Candidates must be self motivated, able to think for themselves and be work well within a team.

1. Boilermaker/Fabricator full time position in Kilsyth working with heavy plate.

2. Fitter full time position in Kilsyth with site work. Role will mainly consist of operating horizontal borer and portable line borer.

3. Trade assistant/ labourer must be mechanically minded and have basic welding skills. Full time position between two sites Kilsyth and Bayswater. Role will consist of stripping and reassembling machinery in preparation for repairs or fit outs.

4. Apprentice Boilermaker/Fabricator Full time position between two sites Kilsyth and Bayswater
