Deck season in full swing. Nice little Refresh in Red Hill. Old decking was butted together, so no airflow and rotten from underneath.

New 140mm pre-oiled from Bowens • Timber & Hardware Supplies . Simpson Strong-Tie Australia fixings and QuikDrive make the job simple.

Some Ironbark cladding, 190x60mm merbau coping board and some 290x45 merbau 45° feature boards finish it off nicely.

So glad we have added the Simpson StrongTie Quick Drive to the trailer. Absolutely brilliant bit of kit, even if the drill is yellow.

Nice little balcony rebuild. Tired old timber floor replaced with James Hardie AU flooring from Bowens • Timber & Hardware Supplies , primed, waterproofed and Tiled with a timber look tile - to keep the original aesthetic.
Cleaned up the wrought iron ballustrades, minimised the timbers, new handrail, shingles and a lick of paint.
Plenty of life left in the old Dame.

Nice little staircase rebuild and makeover.
Previous Renovation had some (cough cough) corners cut and they decided to adjust the 100yo stairs with some MDF additions - minus glue, screws or an understanding of stair construction.

Needless to say, the bottom winder notified the whole house of any traffic going up or down 🤣

Design and lighting in collaboration with

Fully rebuilt with some beautiful from . Lots of screws, glue and correction of design later, we have a beautiful, solid staircase ready for the next 100 yrs.

Sanded and polished by , and unfortunately only seeing the edges of the beautiful work.

Paint matched and touched up, then Mornington sent Stephen out to shape a masterpiece carpet runner with amazingly fancy brass rods 😍

Super proud of our makeover and returning this old beauty to the glory days.
