WE'RE HIRING!
Sales & Administration Coordinator – Full Time
Mooloo Timber Co | Just near Gympie, QLD
$35+ per hour depending on experience and skills, plus superannuation
***Immediate Start***
We're looking for a friendly, organised and motivated person to join our growing team at Mooloo Timber Co!
We're a small, passionate team creating beautiful, one-of-a-kind timber products from locally sourced and salvaged hardwoods. From custom benchtops and doors to bespoke furniture, we love what we do and take pride in the work we create.
We're on the hunt for someone who can help keep things running smoothly, look after our customers and, most importantly, keep our sales and enquiries moving forward.
THE ROLE
This is a hands-on sales and administration position with plenty of variety. You'll be the friendly voice our customers speak to, helping guide them from their first enquiry right through to getting their project underway.
Your day-to-day will include:
- Answering phone calls, emails and customer enquiries
- Following up leads and quotes to help turn enquiries into jobs
- Assisting with preparing quotes and managing customer information
- Keeping our sales pipeline organised and moving forward
- Proactively communicating with customers and keeping them updated throughout their projects
- Liaising with our workshop team to coordinate jobs and scheduling
- General administration and helping improve our systems and processes
WHO WE'RE LOOKING FOR
We're after someone who:
- Is confident, friendly and genuinely enjoys talking to people
- Has a natural ability to build relationships and follow up on opportunities
- Is highly organised and can juggle multiple tasks
- Takes initiative, solves problems and gets things done
- Has a good eye for detail and strong computer skills
- Enjoys working as part of a small, hardworking team
- Has experience in sales, customer service or administration
- Is reliable, motivated and takes pride in their work
**Experience with ServiceM8 would be a huge bonus!** Experience managing sales pipelines, quoting or working in the building and trades industry would also be highly regarded.
You don't need to know everything about timber. We're happy to teach the right person! What's more important is having a great attitude, being willing to learn and taking ownership of your work.
OUR WORKPLACE
We're not a fancy corporate office!
We're based at a working timber yard in Mooloo, just outside Gympie. There's timber, machinery, dust and plenty happening around the place.
You'll have an office workspace, but you'll also be working closely with our workshop crew, so you'll need to be comfortable in a practical, down-to-earth environment.
We're a small team who work hard, have a laugh and genuinely care about the work we produce.
WHAT WE ARE OFFERING

- **$35+ per hour depending on experience and skills, plus superannuation**
- A friendly, supportive and down-to-earth team
- Plenty of variety and the opportunity to take ownership of your role
- The opportunity to grow with our business
