Welcome to Tall, Dutch and Handy!
My name is Sander Opdam, and I’m a Dutch woodworker, furniture and cabinet maker and handyman living in Moorooka. I moved to sunny Australia in February 2018 with my Australian wife, Nissa, and our young son, Finn. After qualifying as a traditional furniture maker back in the Netherlands, and having years of working in every possible related area from boat building, to set and prop building, floor laying and synthetic teak deck making, fabrication of wooden iPhone cases and hand-carving family coats of arms, I’m ready to put my varied skills to use for our own little business here in Brisbane.
