A treasured selection of vintage and Mid Century furniture. I’m the luckiest person I know. So if you’re keen, jump in with me and come along.

I do what I love; sourcing and restoring beautifully designed, Mid century items. Along the way I get to enjoy them and then I get to see the enjoyment they bring to others. It’s been a journey to get to here and it promises to be one hell of a ride.

It’s time to sell my beautiful Regency style armchairs with woven rush seats. They are absolutely stunning chairs and are extraordinarily comfortable. I’ve had them at either end of my dining table and will miss them once sold.

Dm me for more info or wait for me to get them onto the website.

Also I’m leaving on a buying trip to Qld tomorrow so can deliver them to you easily if you’re up that way x

Dining table with amazing veneer and 2 extenders that sit below the top level - as per the original design and intention. Personally I think this is a very cool feature, providing space for serving and allowing the table to be used exclusively for guests and their meals. Alternatively there is masses of room to accommodate a plate, drinks etc.

A superb item we now think is by Edward Hill, an important furniture maker from the early part of the 20th century.

Measuring 1.68 unextended x 90, each extension is around 36 cm deep taking full extension to 2.4 metres.

I’ll get her up on the website later today and don’t hesitate to reach out for more pics and info in the meantime.

Starting the week by applying some shellac to this beautiful Parker dining table Model 96. Shellac is an excellent sealer that when applied properly acts to repel moisture. This is the third coat today and I’ll follow it up once completely dry with some pre cat lacquer that will give it the absolute best finish possible.

Prep is everything! Then onto the base and delivery to Qld.

The husband isn’t happy about me listing this beautiful 4 panel screen because I still haven’t installed curtains and the light is blinding in the morning…

Aaanyway. This is a truly wonderful original 1950s screen in very nice condition considering the age.

Featuring beautifully carved and posed Chinese ladies in traditional dress in gold on one side and decorative lotus leaves on the reverse. Signature of artist to bottom right.

Each panel is 1.82 high x 40.5 wide

Dm me for more info and I’ll get it into the website shortly.

Apologies for the background noise. The kids are back at school and it’s pickup time!

2 dining tables underway for Restoration Tuesday using my newly acquired Festool Australia sander with built in vacuum. What a dream (and yes I paid for it!).

Table 1 is a fabulous round Parker Model #96 in very rare walnut finish with an incredible grain and is 1.37 diameter.

Table 2 is an amazing Paul Kafka walnut with again the most spectacular book matched veneer that even has A FACE!

Refinishing continues tomorrow and I can’t wait to bring you the finished product.

Taking a few days off to stay in the most beautiful home in Milton on the south coast. This really is my dream country home.

Fresh eggs laid by the chooks, veggies in the garden freshly squeezed oranges and a sunny day. Feeling totally spoilt.

We booked Greenwood through Airbnb although you can reach out to the managers Tess - Kin Studio should you also need a country break.

We’re back from our road trip to Victoria and what a trip it was! After making our delivery to the beautiful Bells Beach we meandered our way along the coast staying in some wonderful pubs, meeting locals and drinking way too much w**e.

First up is this wonderful 1970s table with hand made and hand glazed tiles. It’s a real beauty and is in excellent condition with no damage whatsoever. I’m still working on the maker but it has wonderful brutalist vibes.

1.35 long x 62 wide x 41 high.

Dm me for more info or if you have information to share!

Have a great weekend and I’ll regale you with a few more pieces and stories as the weekend rolls on.
