Havenwood Farm is a family run inter-generational diversified farm that raises beef cattle, eggs and homegrown produce from our lovingly tended orchards, which are helped to flourish by our free-ranging chickens that scratch around under the trees, looking for tasty bugs and leaving behind their most excellent fertiliser! When we moved here in 2017, there was one large pin oak in the middle of a neglected grass lawn, but the minute we saw that tree, we knew it was home. In the years since, we have planted thousands of trees, shrubs, and flowers, all helped along by our bee colony, the super savers of our planet! Our home is a haven and our sanctuary, with large gardens and grassed areas to wander, with an eco-resort retreat space for you to take some time out and immerse yourself in the wonders of our valley. We have a boutique 'rustic glam' events barn that caters for weddings and workshops for up to 50 guests, and have plans to open the eco tourism farmstay in early 2024.

We want every guest to feel included here ❤️

That’s why we have designed our fully accessible cabin to be placed smack bang in the middle of it all!

Our friend Danny is helping us ensure that those who are physically challenged can still enjoy everything Havenwood has to offer.

‘The Nest’ is at the heart of our gardens, with a large verandah that overlooks the wetlands and across to the Nature centre. You and your carers will be able to be fully replenished from a few days here, soaking in the views across to the hills, watching the blazing sunsets, clouds scudding across the horizon, a gentle breeze rustling through the long willow branches in front of you 🌿

Little cabins.

Pure joy is whispered by the mountain breeze,
And peace is written on the valley floor,
A gentle healing cradled by the trees,
Awaiting those who step through freedom’s door.

Soon, a space to breathe and rest,
Where heavy hearts can cast their weight aside,
To find renewal as a welcome guest,
Head raised up to where the eagles glide.
