The oEbanista collection is named after the title earned by artisans who work with wood; Ricardo Ferreira earned this honorific title after years spent studying with master carpenters in France and Italy. It attests to the quality of his craftmanship.

C-1160 armchair by Isamu Kenmochi.
Made of hard, thin round rattan, its curves are expressed beautifully. Excellent functionality, lightweight design and craftmamship. A smaller child’s version is also available.

Newly reissued from the Y-M-K Kenmochi archive. The Isamu Kenmochi collection is handmade to order in

The Mobília Puro Collection at Mama Casa..
A shared vision of founders Felipe Rezende and Thales Polis, launched onto the Brazilian design scene at São Paulo’s prestigious SPArte event in 2025, with a collection that exemplified purity in shape and form with robust luxurious materiality and texture. Each piece is handcrafted by local Brazilian artisans.

Mobília Puro presents a new international perspective on Brazilian modernism and embodies the founders’ love of contemporary art and design. Each piece is handmade to order with particular care being taken with the upholstery portfolio of fabrics and hides. A signature of the collection is the exquisite use of ‘pony’ hide upholstery, the result of leather from a cow hide shaved to resemble the texture of horse hair. The process allows for the upholstery to be customised for a tailored solution, with each piece approved by the client prior to being completed.

Anel 60 Office by Ricardo Fasanello.
A swivel desk chair, the Anel executive office chair, like the Anel 60 armchair, features a ergonomic ring-shaped backrest crafted from polyester resin, with an upholstered seat that captured the mood of the 1960’s space race.

What differentiates the office chair is a base with casters and a height adjustment function, revolutionary for the time, which provides optimal functionality for office work. With the fiberglass shell, it’s the epitome of modernism.

Luiza Sunlounger by Fernando Mendes.
Bring on summer. Versatile, comfortable, minimalist but more complex on closer inspection. The paradox between minimalism and complexity was what inspired Mendes to create the sunlounger, whose contours are reminiscent of airplanes from the 1940s. A combination of playful shapes, with a touch of charm provided by the front wheels for ease of moving. The lounger has three angles on the backrest, canvas upholstery and a cushion.

Its craftmanship, detailing and comfort are all hallmarks of the Fernando Mendes collection.

The D42, a Bauhaus classic.
1926 saw Ludwig Mies van der Rohe design, with a single brushstroke, what many considered to be the most beautiful chair of the century. The first springy cantilever of its kind. The Weissenhof with its nickel-plated steel tube frame is elegant and unique. It was designed with (D42) and without (B42) arm rests.

The wicker seat and back have been reproduced from historical documents and handwoven in Germany following the design originally created by Lilly Reich, Mies van der Rohe’s personal and professional collaborator for over 10 years. The family of Lilly Reich has authorised and certified the reissue. Frame handmade and wickerwork handwoven to order in Germany.

Only the TECTA D42 reissue is an exact reproduction of the original design with the wicker weaving and the nickel-plated steel frame as Ludwig and Lilly designed. by the Bauhaus Archives in Berlin.

C-3230-M Armchair
Part of the Isamu Kenmochi collection , it exemplifies the designer’s quest for simple, functional elegance.
Newly reissued from the Y-M-K Kenmcochi archive.

Using 3 types of rattan, the skills of the rattan artisans are embodied in the bending, assembly and weaving of the frame, creating a beautiful, comfortable chair. The cushion is available in fabric or leather.

Isamu Kenmochi is regarded as Japan’s most important modernist designer, the first to combine the ideas of European rationalism and traditional Japanese technology. His Rattan Chair (C-3160) was the first piece of 20th Century Japanese furniture design to be added to the New York MoMA Permanent Collection.

Every piece in the YMK Nagaoka collection is meticulously crafted by hand in Japan, by artisans devoted to producing iconic rattan furniture using traditional time honoured techniques. YMK craftsmen are passionate about creating custom-made rattan furniture; Kenmochi’s famous rattan ensemble uses 3 different signature rattans and gives the rattan the impression of being ‘hand-knitted’. The Isamu Kenmochi collection is handmade to order and has been in continuous production since the 1950s.

Zalszupin’s Zeca Chair
Modernism manifested a worldwide fascination for the wood and wicker chair, so much so that it has become a true archetype. Jorge Zalszupin also used this traditional combination of materials in the Zeca, his answer to the wicker chair. Designed in 1959 the Zeca is at once spartan, elegant and free of excess.
