A LITTLE REMINDER ABOUT SUPPORTING SMALL BUSINESS 💛
Ever wonder why you’re not seeing as many posts from the small businesses you follow?
Social media algorithms decide what gets shown in your feed — and unfortunately, a small business post can easily disappear, even when you’ve chosen to follow that business.
That’s why we sometimes use things like AI, better photos, videos and different ways of presenting our work — not because we don’t want to be genuine, but because we’re trying to actually get our work seen.
So if you see a post from a small local business you like, a simple LIKE, COMMENT, SHARE or even a SAVE can make a huge difference. ❤️
It helps the algorithm know that people are interested — and gives that small business a better chance of reaching you again.
So please keep supporting your local small businesses.
Every little interaction really does count. 🫶Coastal Chic' & Co.

☀️ A LITTLE UPDATE FROM ME — MY NEW CUSHION SERVICE TIERS ☀️
I’ve been thinking about how I can make ordering custom cushions a little easier and more transparent for everyone.
So I’ve introduced 3 levels of service — because not everyone needs the same amount of help, and I wanted to have an option for different budgets too.
🥉 BRONZE — $38 per cover
For those who are happy to BYO suitable upholstery fabric and take care of removing the old covers and fitting the new ones themselves.
🥈 SILVER — $50 per cushion
BYO your fabric and I take care of the rest — working out the meterage, removing the old covers, making and fitting the new ones, plus taking away the old covers and rubbish.
🥇 GOLD — $55 per cushion + fabric from $45 a metre
This is the complete service, including a consultation to help you choose fabrics and colours that work with your space, plus all the measuring, making, fitting and clean-up.
And because I’ve spent 37 years working with fabrics, I can also help you put together a look rather than simply making a cushion. 😉
🏡 I’m also developing a Premium In-Home Consultation for those wanting a little more help with their home — bringing my fabric books to you and looking at your space as a whole.
I’m really excited about this next step and making the whole process simpler, clearer and more personalised.
If you’ve been thinking about giving your cushions a new lease on life before summer, send me a message and I’ll send you the full details. ☀️Coastal Chic' & Co.

Another day, another dollar folks!
And SPRING is nigh! 🌸☀️
(Winters dead and buried ! Side note , I’m a bit late to the party… I’ve only just started watching Game of Thrones! )
Anyway… SPRING’S FABULOUS! Time to get outside, enjoy the sunshine and give that tired outdoor setting a new lease on life — and make your neighbours jealous while you’re at it! 😉
Because… I’M BACK IN BUSINESS! 🧑💼
If your outdoor cushions are looking a little sad after winter, let’s give them some love. New covers, fresh fabric, a colour change — sometimes that’s all it takes to make the whole setting feel new again.
Bring on spring! 🌿
