Thank you to all of the wonderful customers I have met over the past four years since opening my shop. It was my role to teach upcycling techniques and skills but I also ended up learning a lot from you too. Every time someone came in and expressed happiness and inspiration it warmed my heart to provide a creative space for the community. It was so awesome to see photos of your painted pieces too, there's some very talented furniture artists! Many of you have shared how upcycling changed and improved your life and I am so grateful for this experience. I will miss it terribly.

For now, I will have to close the shop in Wembley, but I won't be completely disappearing. I will continue to paint and teach workshops (and hopefully get back into YouTube tutorials).

Gorgeous makeover by Judy for her daughter's room, and the kids had fun helping paint too 🥰 This is Annie Sloan Chalk Paint in Coolabah Green and Old White, sealed with Clear Wax. Judy has used Chalk Paint to update many pieces in her home over the years, with beautiful styling and photography.

Did you know you can use FlexiWood mouldings to look like terracotta clay?! 🤩 Kym from Painted Stag Studio created these beautiful sculptured pots by glueing FlexiWood mouldings onto terracotta pots, painting with Pureco Turmeric Silk Finish, then giving it a white wash.
