Latest build - a natural edge Australian Marri mirror for an entry. Nice unique edges, designed to fit nicely in the space. Very solid. Finished with Odie's Oil that still brings out the unique grain and gum veins that marri has, and retains a nice satin finish. This one is a custom job, not for sale.
Chess board complete. American walnut and maple with raised board and black resin inlay. Turned out really nice. Solid - no cheeky MDF inside, it's 100% hardwood. DM me if you'd like to purchase it - possibly for Father's day?

Nothing like the first coat of finish going on. I almost threw this chess board in the trash after making a bad mistake, a year ago. Today it sees new life, with a new frame. Solid walnut and maple, with black resin inlay. Can't wait to give it more coats and see it finished. Father's day is coming and this is available 😉

Latest creation - this "drop zone" entry bench. Great for the kids schoolbags, shoes and other items. Made from 3 different recycled hardwoods combined - Tassie oak, Marri and White oak. Legs are steel and give a nice contrast. Send me a message if you'd like something similar. :)

Solid jarrah kids picnic table in progress for a local customer, in time for Christmas. Just needs some sanding, rounding corners and oiling. :)

Chess board update. Just needs another light sand and finish. Nice and solid. Walnut and cherry tiles inset into an oak frame. Will post more pics when it's complete. As always, send me a DM if you'd like something similar made - Christmas not far away :)

Walnut box with Tasmanian oak inlay. Nice and solid. It has brass hinges and magnetic closing lid. Box is around 11 x 7 inches. If anyone would like a similar box made (for Christmas maybe?) just send me a DM. :)

I've wanted to do one of these for a while. A New Zealand koru design with Marri wood and resin. Happy with it considering how many ways it could've not worked. ☺️ What do you think?

Challenge complete. This small plant table turned out pretty well, I managed to use most of the 2 pieces of oak and avoid the old screw holes. Feels good putting discarded timber to good use. I finished this with a hardwax oil from WhittleWaxes to preserve the natural colour and grain. I'm not a huge fan of staining when the raw timber was already high quality hardwood. What do you think?
