Frontier Armouries combines the elements of steel, fire and wood to create exceptional craft.

Using blacksmithing and woodworking, each of our pieces is unique, from WA jarrah side tables to emu sculptures that waddle in the wind. With access to rare and world-class timbers such as Western Australia's Jarrah, each piece is a unique work of art. Timber combines with hand-forged steelwork to produce something truly exceptional.

Come down to the exhibition for its final day today (10am - 4pm). There's so much to see and experience, from pastel drawings to wood turnery and pottery. So much high quality work to experience. I am proud to have this opportunity to exhibit my emus alongside all this other fantastic art.

A beautiful jarrah coffee table in the process of production. This piece of timber came from where the tap root and root ball of the tree join and sports a crazy grain with patches of curl and roots sticking out.

This has been hand sanded to 400 grit at present and will have a sheet of glass on top. It will either be sealed with a clear epoxy or varnish.

More photos to come when it reaches completion.

Some beautiful Western Australian timber, soon to travel to Canada. From left to right it goes:

- Tasmanian Oak
- Jarrah
- Jarrah
- Tasmanian Oak
- Sheoak

Jarrah and Sheoak only grow in a tiny region of the world (South Western Australia) and Tasmanian Oak is a eucalyptus variety common to the Eastern side of Australia.
