💡 DID YOU KNOW? A detailed Scope of Works could save you thousands!

Unexpected variations, project delays and additional costs often come down to one thing — details that weren't identified from the start.

A well-prepared Scope of Works helps:
✅ Reduce costly variations and unexpected extras
✅ Minimise delays and unnecessary downtime
✅ Keep clients and contractors on the same page
✅ Deliver more accurate quotes and realistic budgets

Getting the details right from the start can save time, money and a whole lot of headaches down the track.

At Allcraft Projects, we know that good planning is just as important as good workmanship. We have provided clients with clear, and accurate scopes to help them start their project on the right footings (see what we did there😁).

Meet the Team: Paul Hobbs 👋

Managing Director, Registered Builder & Founder of Allcraft Projects

We're introducing the person who started it all!

Paul started Allcraft Projects on 13 July 1992, from a small joinery and cabinet-making workshop.

34 years later, Allcraft has grown into a commercial building and maintenance business delivering construction, fit outs, de-fits, facilities management and project work across WA and beyond.

With more than 35 years in the industry, Paul's career has taken him from cabinet maker, carpenter, joiner and shopfitter to Registered Builder and Managing Director.

That practical trade background is still a big part of how Paul approaches the business — understanding the work, the challenges and most importantly, finding solutions that work.

Today, Paul's role covers a little bit of everything:

🔨 Project & executive oversight
🤝 Client relationships
📋 Strategic & commercial management
📅 Programme & resource planning
⚠️ Risk management
✅ Quality assurance

34 years on, the industry has changed, technology has changed and the business has evolved — but the focus remains the same: good people, good work and finding the right solutions.

And, as Paul would be the first to say, the Allcraft story has always been about the team — employees, contractors, suppliers and clients who have all played a part in getting us here.

34 years down. Still plenty more to come.

A Smoother Path to Safety 🚸
Sometimes, a small change can make a big difference.

We recently upgraded an evacuation access point at an Early Childhood Learning Centre, making it easier for educators to move nursery cots through the emergency exit and towards the muster point.

The existing pathway had an awkward change in levels, creating a difficult transition onto the car park and an unnecessary bottleneck.

So, we fixed it. 👇
🔹 New ramp connecting into the existing gradient
🔹 New kerbing around the garden bed
🔹 New bitumen transition onto the car park
🔹 A smoother, safer access route

The result? A much easier path from the nursery to the muster point — exactly what was needed.

And seriously… how smooth does that concrete and bitumen work look?! 👌

Practical solutions. Safer spaces. Better outcomes.

♻️ From Waste to Welcome 💙

What started as eight office chairs destined for disposal became an opportunity to create a positive community outcome.
As part of our "Reuse First" commitment, our team carefully assessed the chairs, confirmed they were safe and suitable for continued use, and donated them to No Limits Perth.
By choosing reuse over disposal, we’re helping reduce waste, extending the life of quality furniture and supporting organisations that provide essential items to individuals and families rebuilding their lives across Perth.
Small decisions can make a big difference. At Allcraft Projects, we believe every project presents an opportunity to make sustainable choices that benefit our clients, our community and the environment.
A big thank you to No Limits Perth for the incredible work you do supporting our local community. 💚

🦠 Did you know the secret to dealing with mould is acting early?

These photos are from one of our current commercial remediation projects following water ingress.

What looked like minor damage on the surface revealed extensive mould growth hidden inside the wall cavity once it was opened up.

Hidden mould can spread quickly when moisture becomes trapped, which is why it's important to investigate water damage properly rather than simply repairing the visible surface.

Where significant mould is identified, specialist consultants can assess the extent of the contamination and recommend the appropriate remediation process before reinstatement begins.

At Allcraft Projects, we work alongside industry specialists to safely remediate and restore commercial buildings affected by water damage.
