With my passion for old-soul charm I reFinish each piece of furniture; bespoke to be reLoved. Hi, my name is Taryn Gentry.

Home is where the heart is and when it comes to decorating a home it is all about the collective look you would like to create; it’s the feel you get when you walk into a well decorated and functional room. In our busy lives we often bypass the very sanctuary of our existence, our home. Consulting with a home stylist is not just for the elite or those that have a designer home it is for everyone.

Expression of Interest – Business Opportunity

The support from customers, locals, and even the building owner has been overwhelming. One question has continued to come up time and time again:

“Why don’t you sell the business so the community doesn’t lose the store?

The truth is — I don’t want Nedlands and the loyal customers who have supported Interior Avenue to lose this special space either.

This store was created with heart. It became a place where people lingered, shared stories, connected, reminisced, and found inspiration. Many customers became familiar faces and, in many ways, felt like extended family.

For that reason, I am opening up an Expression of Interest for someone who may wish to continue and grow the concept atelier within the area.

This opportunity may suit someone passionate about:
• interiors & styling
• antiques, homewares & curated retail
• creative workshops & community connection
• building a meaningful lifestyle business

The existing stock, concept, goodwill, customer following, retail networks and IP.

The current building owner is very supportive of the space continuing as a concept style store and leasing opportunities are available, however all lease discussions and formal terms would be managed directly through the building owner’s real estate representative.

While stepping away from this location is deeply emotional for me personally, knowing the store could continue in some form for the wonderful community who embraced it would mean the world.

Serious enquiries welcome.

To my valued customers and community,

After much thought and reflection, I wanted to share that Interior Avenue Nedlands will be closing it’s doors in mid June.

This decision has weighed heavily on both my head and my heart, and it has not been made lightly. Letting go of this space feels like saying goodbye to something truly special — not just a store, but a place filled with connection, creativity, and shared appreciation for beautiful, timeless pieces.

Over the past almost two years, I have had the privilege of meeting so many incredible people. What began as a small atelier has grown into something far more meaningful — a place where conversations are had, stories are shared, and a sense of old-fashioned community has quietly flourished. Many of you have come to feel like extended family, and for that, I am deeply grateful.

Interior Avenue will be relocating to the Perth Hills as I take a step toward a more family and lifestyle-focused chapter. While this chapter in Nedlands is coming to a close, it is not the end — simply a new beginning.

I truly hope our paths cross again when I establish the next home for Interior Avenue.

Thank you for your support x Taryn

A world in miniature.

From intricately crafted dollhouse pieces to collector-style curiosities displayed in printer’s trays, miniature collecting is a fascinating world of detail and craftsmanship.

At Interior Avenue, we’re curating a growing collection of both vintage and new miniatures — tiny housewares, curiosities and charming little treasures.

Because sometimes the smallest things bring the most delight.

Early 20th Century Carved Maple Music Cabinet with Mirror Back

circa 1905–1925

A beautifully proportioned early 20th-century music cabinet, crafted in warm maple with a rich, time-softened patina that speaks to generations of careful use. Originally designed to store sheet music and early phonograph records, this piece embodies the elegance of Edwardian interiors—where craftsmanship, ritual, and beauty were inseparable.

This is a piece that transitions effortlessly from its original purpose into today’s homes: equally at ease in an entry hall, bedroom, studio, or powder room, where it can be appreciated as both functional storage and sculptural furniture.

Hello, 2026.

A new year; a softer pace, and a deeper return to what matters most.

Interior Avenue has never been about trends or fast moments. It’s about pieces with stories, homes with soul, and spaces that feel lived in and loved. This year, I’m leaning even further into that—slow curation, meaningful craftsmanship, and creating room for beauty that lasts.

There are changes ahead. Thoughtful ones.
New chapters, new ways of sharing, and a continued devotion to old-world charm reimagined for modern living.

Thank you for walking this avenue with me—through curiosity, creativity, and connection.
I’m so glad you’re here 🤍

Here’s to a year of intention, inspiration, and timeless interiors.

with love, Taryn

As 2025 draws to a close, I just want to pause and say thank you — truly.

Thank you for walking through the doors, for slowing down, for listening to the stories behind each piece, and for choosing to support a small, heart-led business. Whether you came in for a gift, an heirloom, a creative kit or simply a wander and a chat — you’ve been part of something far bigger than a transaction.

This year has been one of growth, courage and creativity. From welcoming new customers and curated collections, encouraging sustainability, interior styling consulting in homes again, to accepting a business award and seeing restored pieces find new homes — 2025 reminded me why Interior Avenue exists in the first place: to celebrate individuality, old-world beauty, and the magic of making spaces feel meaningful.

Your encouragement, loyalty and belief — especially through the challenges — has meant more than you’ll ever know. This business has always been built on connection, and you are the reason it continues to evolve.

As we look ahead, I’m so excited to share that beautiful changes are coming. New ideas, new experiences, and new ways to create, connect and be inspired are already taking shape — and I can’t wait to bring you along for the next chapter.

From the bottom of my heart, thank you for being here, for supporting local, and for being part of the Interior Avenue story.

With gratitude,
Taryn ✨
