What does the tension k**b do on recliners from Easyliving Furniture?
The tension k**bs on recliners control how much resistance you feel when you lean back. They allow you to adjust the reclining tension to suit your body weight and preferred reclining feel.
Turn the k**b clockwise to increase the tension, so the chair feels firmer and provides more resistance when reclining. Turn it the other way to decrease the tension, allowing the recliner to glide more easily and feel lighter.
The important thing is to adjust the tension k**bs gradually and test how the chair feels after each adjustment.
This tension adjustment allows you to personalise the chair according to your body weight and preferred reclining feel. On Stressless® recliners, this adjustment is part of the patented Stressless® Glide™ system, which allows you to lean back and change your sitting position using your body weight, without the need for a lever or handle.
