BEDROOM // Your Most Important Room

The bedroom is the one space in your home that exists entirely for you. The place you begin and end every single day, and the room that perhaps more than any other deserves to feel considered, calm and truly beautiful.

Warm timber, soft layers, gentle light. It doesn’t take much to transform a bedroom into a sanctuary you genuinely look forward to retreating to. The right bed, the right bedside, the right finishing touches and suddenly the whole room breathes differently.

Come and explore our bedroom collection in store. We’d love to help you create the retreat you deserve.

FAMILY // The Heart of Everything We Do

What does family mean to us? It’s watching your parents back themselves when it wasn’t easy. Taking a risk on a vision for something beautiful because they believed, wholeheartedly, that quality and craftsmanship would always find its place in the world.

But family here extends far beyond just us. It’s our staff who show up every day with genuine passion for what we do. It’s the customers who walked through our doors 30 years ago and are still coming back, now sometimes with their own children in tow. It’s the new faces discovering us for the first time and leaving excited about their home. It’s the local manufacturers and artisans who have been by our side from the very beginning, building beautiful things with us season after season.

The General Store has always been built on people. Every piece we source, every timber we select, every fabric we fall in love with comes from that same place. A genuine belief that your home deserves better than ordinary, and that the people behind it matter just as much as the product.

Thirty years in and we have never been more grateful for every single person who is part of this story.

OSLO LOVE CHAIR // Bold, Local & Built to Last

It’s not every day a piece stops you in your tracks, but the Oslo Love Chair has a way of doing exactly that. Upholstered in Warwick’s Sackville Emerald, a striking chevron print in ocean blues and sage greens, this is the kind of chair that gives a room its personality.

Behind the beautiful fabric is serious local craftsmanship. 100% made here in WA with a solid timber mainframe, quality Joyce foams and Blackcat webbing, the Oslo is built to be as comfortable as it looks and to stay that way for years to come.

Available in your choice of size and fabric, the Oslo can be customised to suit your space perfectly. Come in and discover what’s possible.

HORIZON DINING TABLE // Thirty Years of Getting It Right

WA made since 1995 and still one of the most breathtaking tables in our showroom. The Horizon features a premium two-piece 40mm natural edge top in WA Marri, a timber that only grows more beautiful with age and use.

At 2450mm long, this is a table built for long lunches, big gatherings and the kind of meals that turn into late nights. The natural edge keeps the character of the timber honest, ensuring no two Horizon tables are ever quite the same.

This is what three decades of local craftsmanship looks like. Come and see it in person.
