At Stirlings, our 20kW and 60kW Fiber Laser Machines utilise innovative nesting software with the ability to custom-cut intricate shapes with unparalleled precision to 120mm thick from stock.

When off-the-shelf is unsuitable, and custom pieces from casting dies and moulds are expensive and time-consuming, our Laser-cut custom pieces solve it all.

It’s easy: when you’re requiring a customised shape, we select the right grade and thickness of Stainless Sheet or Plate from our fully-stocked warehouses (the widest and deepest stock ranges in Australia), custom-cut what you’re requiring, and we finish using our in-house Deburring Machine. Then we ship it to your site wherever your project is.

30-metres-high near the new Western Sydney International Airport, The Great Emu in the Sky is impossible to miss.

This 3D geodesic dome includes 1,500 internal LED lights representing the Aboriginal astronomical constellation 'The Emu in the Sky', celebrating the Dharug Aboriginal creation story of the Mariong (Emu).

The sculpture, designed by BALARINJI, was precision-formed using custom in-house jigs by valued customer Chess Engineering, and included Stainless steel Pipe supplied by Stirlings.

This impressive piece was designed for aerial visibility for passengers flying in and out of WSI Airport; so if heading by the M12/Warami Drive interchange or catching a flight out of the new airport, enjoy the sight (especially at night)!
