Another year, another fleet carbon offset! 🌱🚛
For the third year in a row, Workspace has offset the carbon emissions from our entire fleet with Greenfleet collaboration.
For the most recent FY, we offset 171.27 tonnes of CO₂, bringing our total fleet emissions offset over the past three years to an impressive 798.50 tonnes of CO₂.
Behind that number is plenty of data and number crunching, including calculating the kilometres travelled across our fleet and the associated emissions. But the result is simple, another practical step towards reducing and addressing the environmental impact of how we operate and deliver our products across Australia.
For us, sustainability goes beyond how we design and manufacture our products. It’s also about looking at the extra steps we can take across our wider operations, from how we transport and deliver our products to initiatives such as our Workspace Circular Solutions (Take Back Program), which considers what happens to our products beyond their time at Workspace.
It is these additional steps that help us keep moving our sustainability journey forward.
