Upholsterer/Machinist

Our small but growing Marine and Automotive Trimming/Upholstery business is seeking a full time/part time or casual Upholsterer or Machinist.

Our business services both the marine and automotive industries particularly on the Mornington Peninsula. The tasks always vary creating an exciting workplace to be apart of.

We operate from 8am-4.30pm Monday – Friday.

The day-to-day duties of this role include but are not limited to:
- R&R headliners and mesh in vehicles
- Offsite visits to vessel to measure/template and or/ fit storm covers etc
- R&R re-trimming vessel interior seating
- R&R re-trimming vehicle seats
- Templating, cutting, binding, and laying new marine carpet
- Minor or major canvas repairs
- Replacing zips and modifying covers
- Cleaning and maintaining an organised workshop

Our trimmers take pride in quality work and efficient time management

Required to apply for role:
- Own vehicle and valid driver’s license
- Experience sewing on industrial machine
- A positive attitude, willingness to learn and capable of working independently.

We are Vessel, Marine and Underwater specialists on the Mornington Peninsula seeking a self-motivated individual to fill an assistant administration position in a small office environment.
We are currently in a major growth phase of our business and require a person with an eye for detail, strong work ethic and a positive attitude. Previous accounts and admin experience is essential, as well as excellent organisational skills.
We pride ourselves on ensuring we maintain a good culture amongst our existing employees.

Working hours are negotiable however this position requires a candidate that can work 3 days between Monday - Friday.

Key Responsibilities will include:
- Using Xero Accounting Software and microsoft office programs
- Accounts payable/receivable (incl. invoicing and payment collection)
- Data entry and completing bank reconciliations
- Preparation of documentation for Parks Victoria
- Performing administrative duties/support to Management
- Social media management
- Staff timesheet management and rectification

The successful candidate will have the following attributes:
- Experience with Xero Accounting Software (desired)
- Recent office-based accounts experience
- Strong computer skills with all Microsoft packages
- High attention to detail
- Organised and detail-oriented
- Good at multi-tasking
- Proactive attitude
