And just like that, the last little pieces of Marigold have left the building! 🥹

Of course, our much-loved Fernando the donkey had to be the very last to leave! 🫏❤️ And Dayle even managed to strike a pose in between all the patching, painting and endless odd jobs!

Our beautiful grand building is looking a little bare now, quietly awaiting its next fabulous transformation. It has been home to so many wonderful memories, and I can't wait to see what the next chapter brings.

As for me, there's a mountain of admin to catch up on, a home that looks like it's been hit by a tornado to reinstate, and a little maintenance on myself wouldn't go astray either! 😂

So before I sink my teeth into creating the new Marigold, I'm taking a little time to regroup, recharge and get life back into some sort of order.

The next chapter is going to be exciting, but first… a very deep breath, a pinot or 2 and perhaps a little sleep! 🤎

What an incredible two years it has been! To everyone who has walked through our doors, supported us, shared a story, a laugh or a little piece of their life with me — thank you from the bottom of my heart.
I've laughed, I've cried, I've listened and I've learnt so much along the way. It's the people I've met, the conversations we've had and the friendships I've made that have given me so much inspiration and made Marigold what it is today.

A very special thank you to my fabulous team, Leigh and Sarah, who have been such an important part of this journey.

Leigh, an absolute wealth of knowledge, a true gentleman and the person I could always count on to pick up the things I'd missed (and there were a few!). Your dedication and support have meant the world to me. And Sarah, an Instagram whizz, incredibly talented artist, voice of reason and the person who could make me laugh every single shift. I'm not sure how we managed to get any work done some days! You have both been instrumental in keeping Marigold running, and I couldn't have done it without you. ❤️

To the amazing businesswomen who have generously shared their knowledge, offered advice and cheered me on from the sidelines — you know who you are, and I'm so grateful for you.

A big shout out to our fabulous delivery partners & The Carlisle St Traders Association thanks for your support.

To my incredible husband, Dayle, who jumped onto this crazy roller coaster with me and has held my hand through every twist & turn. Thank you for believing in my dream and being right there beside me.
And our beautiful kiddos, Indiah, Kyah and Blake, who somehow always knew I could do this, even on the days I doubted myself.

There's a new and exciting chapter brewing, and while I'm sure there will be plenty more laughs, tears and moments of wondering what on earth I've got myself into, I wouldn't have it any other way!

As we close the doors on this chapter, it's certainly not goodbye, just see you later

And just like that, it’s our last day in St Kilda.

A beautiful chapter comes to a close today as we say goodbye to our much-loved St Kilda store.

Thank you to everyone who has wandered through our doors, discovered something special and supported Marigold along the way.

We’re so excited for what comes next in South Geelong.

Our doors close at 4pm today. One last chance to visit us in St Kilda.
