Planning ahead for holiday hosting? If you’re hoping to have new dining chairs or barstools ready for Christmas dinner, now is the time to get those orders in—whether you shop with us at Sitting Around or anywhere else!

Here’s why placing your order early makes all the difference:

Production & Transit Times: Made-to-order, custom upholstery, or imported pieces often require anywhere from 4 to 10 weeks to arrive.

Holiday Freight Rush: Courier and shipping networks get jammed starting in November, meaning potential delivery delays close to the wire.

Assembly & Setup: Getting your chairs delivered early gives you plenty of time to unpack, assemble, and set up your space stress-free before guests arrive.

If you’re looking for dining, hospitality, or counter stools, drop by Sitting Around to check out what we have in stock for immediate pickup or to place your order before lead times lock out Christmas delivery!

Times are tough, and it’s tempting to grab the cheapest furniture you can find to stretch your budget. But buying "disposable" piece after piece isn’t actually saving money if it breaks in six months and lands in a landfill.

Replacing low-quality furniture over and over again costs way more in the long run than investing in standard, sturdy pieces built to last. When money is tight, buying well-made furniture—or restoring quality second-hand finds—is the real budget-saver.
