Last week I had the pleasure of visiting for the launch of the new Dulux studio, showcasing the incredible and ranges.

It was such a valuable afternoon diving deeper into these products and seeing firsthand why partnering with skilled, knowledgeable trades like makes all the difference in achieving a high-quality finish.

And yes… the highlight was absolutely meeting the real — the interior-designer equivalent of meeting Santa

This is a great example of perception of colour and why we recommend to look at all the colours together - as each colour is affected by the colours around them 🌈🎨

Your eyes may swear they see yellow in this circle, but your brain is actually inventing it. There’s no yellow present at all instead, your brain fills in the missing color based on the way the surrounding lines and shapes interact visually.

This is a perfect example of how perception doesn’t always equal reality. Our minds are constantly interpreting and guessing based on patterns, and sometimes those guesses are surprisingly wrong and fascinating to witness.
