Fred International is Australia and New Zealand's leading distributor of contemporary Scandinavian design furniture, lighting and accessories, and we're passionate about educating the market on the inherent value of Scandinavian design and its relevance to the Australasian lifestyle. From contemporary works to mid century icons, our hand picked stable of brands come from Sweden, Denmark, Finland and Norway, and include Fogia, Friends & Founders, by Lassen, Swedese, Lindholdt Studio and Secto Design. The Fred International showroom has been conceptualised as 200 square metres of Scandinavian living in the heart of Sydney. The space was designed to evoke the warmth of a Scandinavian home rather than a traditional showroom experience. Natural light and honest materials form a warm backdrop for a series of large-scale dioramas and an ever-growing collection of Scandinavian curios and objet d’art.

Mazo’s Rooted in Time exhibition at 3daysofdesign, presented alongside DCW éditions, perfectly captured the brand’s quiet confidence and enduring approach to Danish design. Beautifully styled by Studio Nathalie Schwer, the showroom became a welcoming space for conversation, connection and a shared appreciation of enduring design.

Highlights included the launch of the new MAG Chair Collection by Magnus Sangild & Vúóng Kim Daniel, extending the range with dining, counter and bar seating in solid oak with a wide range of upholstery options. The iconic TMBO Lounge Chair was also showcased in the luxurious Mareva velvet by Nobilis, demonstrating the timeless character and versatility of one of Mazo’s signature designs.

Rooted in Time celebrated the idea that great design isn’t about chasing trends, but creating pieces that are made to be lived with for generations.

Johanson Design continues to lead the way in flexible, contemporary furniture for commercial, hospitality and public spaces, combining exceptional craftsmanship with one of the industry’s most extensive customisation programs. At this year’s 3daysofdesign, the brand introduced the new Split collection by Färg & Blanche, featuring both a stool and bench, while showcasing its remarkable palette of more than 400 RAL colours and over 100 upholstery options.

The exhibition was presented in collaboration with Elmo Leather and colour designer Tekla Evelina Severin, whose newly updated Elmonordic leather palette explored how colour, light and material interact to influence the mood and character of a space. It was a fitting partnership, highlighting the endless creative possibilities available through Johanson’s furniture collection.

This year at 3daysofdesign, Fogia took a different approach, partnering with Le Petit Vo**ur to transform its showroom into the Fogia Bookstore – a quiet, welcoming space celebrating books, conversation and the slower moments of everyday life.

The exhibition introduced the latest evolution of the Bond Modular Shelving System, now expanded with corner modules, bookmark end panels and a new 300 mm shelf depth, making the system even more versatile for residential and commercial spaces. Think corner sections, T sections and X sections.

Also on show were the return of the BD1 Lounge Chair, the Cube Vase Tall and a special Copenhagen Edition of the iconic Bollo Lounge Chair celebrating the collection’s tenth anniversary.

While more understated than previous years, the concept reflected Fogia’s enduring focus on thoughtful design, craftsmanship and creating spaces that invite people to pause, connect and stay a little longer.

Brdr. Krüger unveils a renewed flagship showroom in Copenhagen ahead of 3daysofdesign 2026.

Designed by Studio Nathalie Schwer with Nordiska Kök, the new Bredgade space explores a softer and more immersive way of experiencing furniture, craftsmanship and atmosphere.

A layered interior shaped by materiality, architectural zoning and residential warmth.

A beautiful new chapter for the Danish furniture maker as it celebrates 140 years.

If you’re heading to Copenhagen in June, reach out to us directly. We’ll be sharing exhibition highlights, event information and some favourite design destinations throughout the festival.
