Sam Pearlman joins Eakin McCaffery Cox 27 October 2023.

Sam is an experienced commercial disputes and insolvency lawyer with specialist experience in the financial services sector. He has held partner roles in Australian mid size law firms and been a director of a law firm owned by a publicly listed mercantile agency. More recently, Sam worked in the Sydney office of a global firm.

Sam has acted for some of Australia's major banking institutions as well as smaller mid- tier and bespoke lenders. He has also acted for many of Sydney's insolvency practices in liquidations and administrations work.

Sam specialises in legal recoveries, whether secured or unsecured loans, claims by insolvency practitioners, insurance recoveries or in larger contractual disputes. Same has considerable court experience over the years and acted in proceedings in all major jurisdictions along the Australian eastern seaboard.

Wherever possible, Sam seeks commercial resolution of disputes in a cost effective and prompt manner so that clients can carry on with their business, rather than be in court.
