Hi everyone, here are some photos of small coffee table I just recently restored, I started by assessing any damage around the whole coffee table, made sure everything worked (draws) sanded the whole entirety of the coffee table back to raw and then put some Old Baltic stain to get it back to its nice golden colour and then finally put a gloss shine lacquer over the top to get that nice shine back to it aswell as sealing and protecting the material underneath.

Here is a chair I recently cut back and re-stained with some proof tint oak stain along with some gloss wipe on polyurethane. There is 7 more chairs to do to complete the set and I’m looking forward to seeing them all together with the life brought back to them. My French polishing skills are definately getting better and better each day.

Here is a rattan rocking chair that I fixed up. There was a hole in the back rest so I cut it out and replaced the entire rattan back. I also replaced the entire rattan bottom that you sit on. The right handle was de laminating so I applied some glue in between each layer and clamped it closed, once the glue was fully dry the handle looked good as new.

These are 2 small coffee tables that I re varnished with walnut timber stain and then put some clear wipe on Satin Polly over the top of the stain to protect it. The joins in the top were coming apart and falling off so I re glued them and they are good as new.

HI Guys, here is a before and after picture of a small entertainment unit I worked on. I fully sanded it back so there was no paint left on it and then I applied a coat of beeswax to give it a nice finish.
