I was absolutely sweating peeling this stencil off. 😅

I’d painted the chair about an hour earlier and, because patience isn’t one of my strong suits, decided that was plenty of drying time.

The whole time I was convinced the sticker was about to take half the paint job with it… but somehow we survived and the name reveal was worth the stress.

The sweetest little rocking chair for the sweetest little girl. 🤍✨ My niece turned one today, and I couldn’t resist giving her this gorgeous miniature rocking chair when I spotted it. A special keepsake for a very special little lady 🫶🏻

POV: You’re committed to replacing the backing board… and your phone decides it’s seen enough.

Ran out of storage halfway through, so you’ll just have to trust me that the rest came off too.

, my phone literally quit its job halfway through filming this reel. I’ve got 48,000 photos of furniture and zero intentions of deleting them. Your move 😏

✨ The importance of lighting when photographing your furniture:

• Natural light is your best friend – it shows colours more accurately than artificial lighting.

• Position your piece near a window or shoot outdoors in open shade for the most even lighting.

• Avoid harsh direct sunlight, which can create strong shadows and wash out details.

• Turn off overhead lights when possible to prevent yellow or mixed colour tones.

• Bright, well-lit photos make your furniture look cleaner, more professional, and more valuable.

• Dark photos can hide the details you’ve worked so hard on and make a piece feel smaller or dull.

• Take photos at different times of the day to find the best light in your space.

• Remember: great staging helps, but great lighting is what brings it all to life.

A beautifully refinished piece deserves photos that do it justice. 📸

This is your reminder that boring furniture is often just furniture with unrealised potential. ✨🤎
