There’s a point where matching everything starts to feel like missing the point.

Restraint is overrated when the pattern is this good. Stripes, florals, cane, fringe, a ceiling with opinions. Somehow it all works.

Boots included

Sometimes the best styling is simply leaving the things you actually use where they belong.

Half interior, half gateway to the outdoors, a room designed around coming and going, here a 19th Century French scullery table becomes the natural centre of the room. Built to hold everything from flowers, to boots, to riding gear, a space designed for work and life.

Black or white?

Entryway, study, bedroom, living, or dining? One silhouette. Two very different moods.

Rounded ends soften the form and give the Louis its distinctive character. The fluted drawer fronts introduce subtle rhythm and texture across the piece.

In black, the curved silhouette feels stronger. The darker finish sharpens the fluted drawer fronts and gives the buffet a confident presence against softer neutral walls.

In white, the same form becomes lighter, quieter and more integrated with the room around it. The curves feel softer, the detailing more subtle, and the overall effect more relaxed.

Curve again

Rounded armchairs, arched openings and softened architectural details repeat the same visual language at different scales.

A chair, curved burl timber, is both functional and an object of art, strong form creating presence even in a smaller piece.

A small departure can change the whole room, the one upholstered chair introducing just enough colour to loosen the neutral palette.

One strong line

Good bedside furniture supports the everyday without asking for attention.

Here, the X-shaped base creates movement and keeps the silhouette visually open, a practical way to introduce structure without heaviness.

A single dark drawer pull adds just enough contrast against the white finish.

The piece needs very little around it.

A lamp, books and flowers are enough to let the form remain visible.

A little adventure

Not every luxurious moment needs a reservation.

Sometimes it begins with throwing a few things in the back and deciding where to stop later.

The open road, a packed car, a wool blanket folded in the back, and somewhere worth stopping for.

Woven cane beside dark upholstery. Soft textiles against the harder geometry of the vehicle. A patterned blanket folded casually beside the basket.

The same principle applies to interiors. A beautiful table becomes more meaningful once it is surrounded by people. A leather chair becomes richer once the surface begins to soften. Timber acquires character as light, touch and time alter it gradually. Wool, leather, timber, wicker and linen have a natural relationship with use. Their beauty is not dependent on remaining untouched.

They are designed to participate.
