Dogs leave dirt, fur, skin cells, urine and other nasties in your pool. This affects the chemical balance of your pool and will raise Phosphates, which then feed algae. The fur can also block your filter and their nails can damage equipment. Just be mindful if your dog loves to swim in the pool 👍
