It started in a workshop.
Yardware began as a family workshop in Alexandria, Sydney, hand forging steel furniture for some of Australia's most respected stores and designers. When we opened our own store in Surry Hills, we sold our pieces alongside furniture imported from Italy.

Later, the same workshop began moulding Glass Reinforced Concrete (GRC). Stronger than concrete with less than half the weight, it can be moulded into just about any shape.

We're still family owned, and still work to the same idea: make it well, make it honestly, make it last.

Metal Lattice.
The Herculanean 2 Seater Lounge is big in size and sturdy in construction. Made for the great outdoors, it pairs a stout lattice back and seat with strong metal framing.

Here, two face each other across the Herculanean Coffee Table Base, shown with a glass top. The base has a sturdy, lower cross-brace and is designed to support either glass or stone. The tailor-made cushions are made in Australia and designed to stay out of doors.

• Hand forged from galvanised steel
• Hand painted, shown here in Matt Black. Also available in Fossil and Antique Rust
• Easily cleaned with a hose or damp cloth
• Part of the Herculanean collection, which also includes 1 and 3-seater lounges, a poolside chaise, ottoman and side table
• Lounge: 1260 L x 730 D x 750 H

The Old Villa Garden.
A bowl-shaped urn with a broad lip and contrasting handles, the Borghese Urn takes its name from the Villa Borghese Gardens in Rome. Begun by the Borghese family, the gardens are still one of the city's most visited landmarks.

Graceful, with a touch of antiquity, it's first and foremost a garden ornament.

• Individually moulded from Glass Reinforced Concrete (GRC)
• Stronger than concrete with less than half the weight
• Available in a choice of colours that can be mixed and matched

A timeless piece inspired by one of Rome’s most iconic gardens.
The Borghese Urn takes its name from the historic Villa Borghese Gardens, with a graceful bowl-shaped form, broad lip and distinctive handles that bring a subtle sense of antiquity to the garden.
