We are hiring - First Year Apprentice

Commence work January 2022!

Mountain Fresh Air is looking for an enthusiastic and hardworking individual to join our growing team as a First Year Apprentice. The position is based in the Penrith and Blue Mountains area (factory in Emu Plains) with travel to the greater area of Sydney being a prominent part of the role. The right person will:

- Have an excellent work ethic.
- Be conscientious, punctual and reliable.
- Have a genuine interest in the air conditioning trade.
- Committed to completing the TAFE course in air conditioning and refrigeration.
- Able to pass regular drug testing
- Possession of a NSW Drivers license is preferred.

No experience is necessary but the candidate must be willing to learn and work hard. Recent school leavers and those in year 11 (2021) are welcome to apply.

Although we are looking for a minimum four year commitment, ideally the candidate will be seeking a longer term role at our company.

Mountain Fresh Air will provide the training, mentoring and experience to become a qualified Air Conditioning tradesman. We are a friendly team who enjoy working hard and producing quality product for our customers.

Mountain Fresh Air is looking for an enthusiastic and hardworking individual to join our established team as a qualified air-conditioning tradesperson. The position is based in the Penrith and Blue Mountains area with travel to the greater area of Sydney being a prominent part of the role. As an air-conditioning tradesperson, you will be completing servicing, installation and maintenance work on domestic and small commercial air-conditioners, and supervising apprentices.

The right person will:

- Be able to prove registration as a qualified air-conditioning and refrigeration mechanic.
- Experience in installation and maintenance of domestic air-conditioning systems (ducted and split systems).
- Have an excellent work ethic.
- Be conscientious, punctual and reliable.
- Committed to long-term employment at Mountain Fresh Air.
- Possess a NSW Drivers license and have an excellent driving record.
- Have excellent communication and customer service skills.
- Be able to work independently and with minimal supervision.
- Be able to pass drug testing.
- Experience in supervising apprentices is preferred.
