This would be how we typically make our narrow shaker profile doors
A lot of companies will run end panels all the way to the floor. In some instances this detail can add to the kitchen.
However in many cases, leaving it off the door and letting the kickboard do its job can benefit a project in more ways than one.
Painting cabinet doors in a kitchen
Flush fitting lights with style
Door straighteners. What are they and why do we use them?
It’s a small detail, but it makes a surprisingly big difference. Instead of having one door sitting proud of the cabinet next to it, the chamfer creates a subtle transition between the panels. You get clean lines, soft edges and a much more sophisticated finish. It’s one of those details you might not notice straight away, but you definitely notice when it’s missing.

We believe that good design is about making the best use of the space you have.
This Elizabeth Bay apartment kitchen was redesigned to deliver everything the homeowners wanted from a full-sized kitchen within a compact Art Deco floorplan. Removing the dividing wall completely changed the way the space functions, creating a stronger connection to the living area while opening up room for more storage, better workflow and casual dining.
Every element was custom designed to suit the apartment’s unique geometry. Featuring the beautiful Four Seasons Quartzite and a premium suite of integrated appliances.
Featuring:
Steam ovens and cooktop: V-ZUG

A few of our favourite spaces we have designed recently. A kitchen, formal living, media wall and laundry with an emphasis on negative space. Not every wall needs open shelving and not every corner needs to be filled. Giving joinery room to breathe often makes a space feel larger, calmer and more considered

A wine fridge isn’t just a spare cabinet with a glass door. Done properly, it’s planned around the appliance itself: the clearances, the ventilation, the door swing, the way it sits with everything around it.
Your standard fridge is too cold for cellaring and gets opened far too often to keep wine happy. A dedicated wine fridge holds a steady temperature and keeps your bottles close to where you actually pour them, whether that’s the island, the bar, the scullery or the butler’s pantry.
The details are what make or break it. Front ventilation versus void space around the sides. Single zone for one style of wine, dual or multi-zone if the collection is more varied. A framed glass door that’s meant to be seen, or a panelled front that disappears into the joinery.
Get the airflow wrong and the appliance runs hot, works harder and can fail early. Get it right and it becomes part of the room, glass lit up at night, bottles ready to go.
We design the cabinetry around the fridge, not the other way around.
