Poseidon Poles and Flags operate in the marine and flagpole industries. We are a small, family owned and operated business based in Brookvale on the Northern Beaches but due to ongoing growth, we are expanding our small team. This role encompasses the manufacturing, installation and servicing of flagpoles.

Flagpole duties include constructing poles, serving poles on site, installation of poles including concreting bases in place.

We offer a relaxed working environment, and there is plenty of opportunity to get out and about on site. The jobs we work on are varied and interesting. Full training provided.
You will have:
• Australian working rights
• Full driving license (and able to drive with a trailer ideally)
• Willingness to learn new skills
• Know one end of a screwdriver from another
• Be able to offer great customer service
• A sense of humour is optional but would help

This is a diverse role across multiple disciplines, yachting and flagpole construction.

The role is split 50/50ish between yacht rigging and flagpole work.
Rigging duties include re rigs, commissioning, splicing, rig tuning, swaging, rig inspections, recommendations, mast building, and some electrical connections.

Flagpole duties include constructing poles, serving poles on site, installation of poles including concreting bases in place.

Must be comfortable working at heights.

We offer an easygoing and comfortable working environment and there is plenty of opportunity to get out and about on site. The jobs we work on are varied and interesting.
