X-trim Motor Trimming

Another day, another RX-3 out the door.

John’s RX-3 rolled into the workshop for a full custom interior makeover, with everything built from scratch to suit the car. We started with a custom rear seat designed to fit neatly around the tubs while hiding a 12” sub underneath, then fabricated a custom parcel shelf with the speakers tucked away for a clean, tidy finish.

The custom work continued with a set of one-off door trims featuring integrated speakers, along with a pair of CS Recaros retrimmed to match. The whole interior was wrapped in premium black Nappa leather and finished off with Golf GTI plaid inserts, giving it that perfect mix of old-school style and modern comfort.

We also teamed up with the crew at Bankstown Sound, who handled all the stereo and audio side of the build. Working together, we were able to tie everything in seamlessly and deliver a setup that looks as good as it sounds.

We are stoked with how this one turned out. Now back to Pac performance to button a few this up and will be on the road in no time.

This build received a complete interior retrim in black vinyl, complemented by Alcantara inserts throughout, including the roof lining. The seat backs were finished in carbon fibre dip for a modern touch, while the interior was kept clean and timeless with a custom bolstered rear seat, custom parcel shelf, and one-off door trims all finished off with chrome accents.

Here’s Ashraf’s RX-3 we wrapped up a few months back. This one got the full treatment — custom rear seat built to work around the tubs and modified tunnel, a hand-made console and one-off door trims. All trimmed in Nappa leather with woven inserts to tie it all together.

A full re-trim for this 1963 Impala El Taco, wrapped in distressed brown vinyl with a clean, classic look in mind. Timeless style done right.

Ray’s HG came in for a modern take on a classic Holden interior, finished as if it could’ve rolled straight out of the factory. The build features an Alcantara roof lining, custom rear seat and boxed boot, handmade carpet, under-dash panels, a custom-built centre console, and one off door trims. Everything is wrapped in black Nappa leather with stamped basket-weave inserts, then finished with chrome highlights.

Keeping it factory-correct while making it work. Shane’s Capri now features a full factory-style interior, handmade carpet for the modified tunnel, a reworked rear seat for the tubs, and Recaro fronts trimmed to look OEM.

Eli’s S14 received a complete interior transformation, finished in charcoal Alcantara throughout with custom laser detailing and embroidered inserts for a refined, high-end look.

After a busy lead-up to Christmas, we’re back sharing some of our recent work. First up is George’s LH Torana, featuring our interpretation of the original SL trim. Trimmed Kirkey seats, a handcrafted rear seat, and a full custom boot fit-out, all finished in distressed brown vinyl for a refined, classic finish.
