No matter how far we travelled, Newport always brought us back to earth. Home was where we learned to take the hits, and grow from them 🌊

After a break in the late ’80s, Newport Plus returned stronger, not just a club, but a community. Parents, kids, and surfers together, rewriting what surf culture could be 🏄‍♂️

The world took notice. From the USA, to France, to beyond! Australia’s boardriders culture became the blueprint 🌊

They asked what made Aussie surf culture so special. Turns out, it was our unity, our clubs, our unmatched spirit 🐨

They surfed every wave they could find, Cronulla to Bondi, but nothing matched The Peak back home 🌊

This June, we caught up with two legends of Australian surfing! Two-time World Surfing Champion Tom Carroll and renowned surf journalist Nick Carroll, right here at Newport Beach for the Lock & Roll–sponsored round.
