This year marks our 6th year of planting, and it has been an incredibly special experience - from seeing our past efforts thriving at Nightwings to planting another 5,000 seedlings at this new property.

5,000 seedlings in the ground! 🌱

They say many hands make light work, but seeing 5,000 seedlings planted at 110 Cape Tribulation Road was next-level. 🙌

The Ambius team spent an incredible day this weekend helping restore one of the world's most ancient ecosystems - The Daintree.

The Daintree holds an incredible, ancient energy, and planting alongside so many passionate individuals was a powerful reminder that when people unite behind a common goal, real environmental impact happens.

Thank you to the Rainforest Rescue team for the opportunity to contribute to the restoration of this priceless ecosystem. 🌲✨

As our Ambius team travels to the tropical far north QLD, getting ready to give back - let's take a closer look at the property we are restoring.

Why is 110 Cape Tribulation Rd so important?
- It’s 30Ha (75 acres) of abandoned sugarcane land.
- It has around 5Ha (12.5 acres) of naturally regenerated habitat.
- It has a significant 25Ha (62.5 acres) that can be restored: it’s rare and threatened ecosystem designations will provide habitat for the regional and migratory species that rely on these ecotypes for their very survival, and
- It has a high-profile location on the main road to the Daintree Ferry which will be the ideal spot for an information centre on the Daintree and for future community planting days.

Roots Deepen, Horizons Expand 🌿
As we celebrate our 6th year of tree planting, we couldn't be more thrilled to start this next chapter at 110 Cape Tribulation.

While this specific property is a new destination for us, the mission is the same. In a couple of days our team will be back on the ground with the Rainforest Rescue team, putting our hands into new soil to help restore this ancient gem.

Six years of planting has taught us that every seedling is a promise to the future. We can’t wait to start this new journey and feel the energy of the rainforest once again.
