How far does a bale of CHOCKABLOK go?

Every bale of CHOCKABLOK packs a punch with a single bale covering up to 4m2.
You’ll notice the bales are quite heavy – this is because CHOCKABLOK has a very fine texture that has been compressed into the bale. This fine texture makes it very easy to spread and incorporate into the soil.

It also contains NO green waste, ensuring a consistent, high quality, compost all year round.

What a spectacular celebration of roses!

Last week, Helen attended the Australian Rose Championships and Conference 2026 during her trip to New South Wales. Held over three exciting days at the Camden Civic Centre, the event was a feast for the senses from the careful staging of show entries to the anticipation of judging some truly magnificent blooms.

With 446 entries from 57 exhibitors and more than 700 vases on display, the Nationals showcased an extraordinary variety of roses. Choosing the winners was certainly no easy task!

What variety of roses is your favourite? 🌹

What a blooming beautiful visit to the Blue Mountains!

Recently, Neutrog Brand Ambassador, Brian travelled through New South Wales and had the pleasure of presenting to the Blackheath & District Horticultural Society. While in town, he enjoyed a stroll through the local gardens, capturing the spectacular rhododendrons and azaleas in full colour.

Perched more than 1,000m above sea level, Blackheath offers the cool climate and rich, acidic soils these gorgeous plants thrive in. It is easy to see why they put on such a magnificent display!

For gardeners growing acid-loving plants, Kahoona is an ideal choice. This organic based, boosted fertiliser is specially developed to enhance the growth and flower development while helping foliage stay healthy and green.

Brian then continued to visit the Orange Garden Club and Bathurst Gardener’s Club to present at their meetings. If you are part of a group and are interested in organising for a Neutrog Brand Ambassador to present to your members, please get in touch by filling in the speaker form on our website, here: https://neutrog.com.au/home-gardener/speakers-factory-tours/speaker-request/

Recently, the marketing team at Neutrog visited the Adelaide Botanic Garden, where we came across a beautiful little field of Rhodanthe chlorocephala. These flowers are more commonly known as ‘paper daisies’ blooming at the northern end of the International Rose Garden.

Planted earlier this year in May by the dedicated horticulture team and their brilliant volunteers, these vibrant flowers are now putting on a beautiful display.

Paper daisies are widely grown for their attractive flowers and foliage, as well as their hardy, adaptable nature and ability to provide fast, effective ground cover. But their value goes well beyond their beauty.

These flowers also help support native pollinators, with bees, beetles and small flies visiting the flowers for nectar and pollen. Despite its delicate appearance, it is a valuable contributor to the ecological web of Australian heathlands and shrublands – a remarkable impact from such a small and fleeting flower.

Make sure to visit the Adelaide Botanic Garden and catch these stunning blooms while they’re looking fabulous this spring!

MEATWORKS = Blood & Bone, with sprinkles!

The newly biologically activated MEATWORKS Blood & Bone has a ‘sprinkling’ of activated carbon distributed through the formula.

These flakes will hold up to 130% of their weight in moisture which makes them the ideal host for the microbes in MEATWORKS.

Specifically selected microbes have been bio-engineered onto these flakes meaning that when you apply MEATWORKS, the microbes will quickly get to work breaking down the nutrients for plants to absorb.

What a difference a year can make in the garden! Mary, one of our wonderful customers, recently shared these lovely photos of her cyclamens, showing their transformation from last year to the present day.

After a few feeds of Seamungus, Mary says her cyclamens have returned fuller, healthier and more vibrant than ever - a beautiful result captured in the before and after images below!

Seamungus helps condition the soil and support strong plant growth above and below ground, while helping plants cope with heat, drought, frost, pests and disease. There’s something special about seeing a favourite plant thrive season after season.

What’s a plant in your garden that has surprised you with a remarkable comeback?

As your garden bursts into life this spring, now is the ideal time to provide the nutrients plants need for strong, healthy growth. Having a reliable all-round fertiliser on hand is one of the simplest ways to help your garden look its best throughout the season.

Rapid Raiser is an organically based, biologically active ‘living’ fertiliser boosted with extra phosphorous to promote faster, healthier, sustained growth for all plants - making it an ideal choice for gardeners looking to nourish a diverse range of plants with a single, versatile fertiliser.

Use Rapid Raiser before planting by incorporating it into the soil, and then every 8-10 weeks once plants have established. Use across a range of plants, from fruit trees and vegetable beds, to flowers and plants in pots.

Apply the pellets around the base of the plant and be sure to water in well after application. Keep fertiliser at least 20cm away from the base of the plant and avoid contact with foliage or flowers.

For more information - please refer to the ‘How To’ video below! What are you looking forward to growing this season?
