We are a small acreage focussing on sustainable farming. We will soon be producing lovely free range eggs, with more produce to follow in the coming year.
Our chickens roost and lay inside a mobile caravan that is moved onto fresh pasture daily. The chickens are kept safe from foxes behind electric poultry netting, and also have the protection of our old but trusty dog Sweep.

Eggs are currently available at the main shed for a couple of days. It seems we have a new job to attend to 🙄😂

As we are a poultry farm with more than 50 birds, we are required to lock our birds up for the next 14 days due to the bird flu. This is not how we like to see our beautiful girls live, so have decided to offer a few a “lucky escape”. If you have less than 50 birds, you can still let yours free range, so if you have room, from this afternoon and tomorrow we have the following:
About 30 - 19 week old Australorp x hens for $45 each, and
About 50 - 11 week old Australorp x, and about 15 - Isa Brown hens for $30 each

To everyone that bought our 8 week old Australorp x’s back in May, your beautiful ladies will now be around 18 weeks old. We have already had messages saying laying has started, as it has for us! The fruits of our (your) labour are coming home to roost👏👏🥚🥚🥚

We have another 100 Australorp x and Isa hens available this coming Friday morning 🐥 🐥 These girls will be almost 8 weeks old, are off heat and are looking very strong and healthy. Pick up is from 8:30 am to 11:00 am, please send a message to order. $25 each, remember to bring a box 😁
