Thought I’d do a follow up of the last video I posted of pushing down regrowth. Now it’s all raked up and in piles or wind rows. Found plenty of rocks in amongst the regrowth.
Totally transformed the look of this section of the block.
The video was shot from the exact same spot as the first one pushing down the regrowth.

Since I haven’t been able to sink the dam I’ve got to do at Trangie I’ve gone back to driving my old TD15 on the job I was doing before it got to wet to work.
I’ve started raking the regrowth we’ve already got on the ground and found some that didn’t warrant running two dozers over with the scrub chain attached. So I did it with the one dozer.

Just a few photos of the last job I’ve just completed out west.
I was out on that job for just under 4 months and almost 500ac destumped and cleaned up and ready for farming.
The farmer is absolutely stoked that I managed to get it all raked up so we could get it all burnt before the fire restrictions came in.
Off to Trangie to now to sink a couple of dams now for another client.
My old D85-18 never missed a beat through out the whole job.
Love been busy.

Thought I’d give you guys a bit of an update on the current job I’m working on.
The farmer is absolutely wrapped in how well this block is coming up. I’ve almost got the first block completed. Thankfully the next block isn’t as big as this one. It’s a very long way from one side to the other when you’re looking across it as you can see from the photos.

Changing out the old main hydraulic pump with a new pump. Man that’s gunna be fun. Not.

Nothing like welding things up out in the middle of nowhere.
I first tack on the stainless steel round bar with the rake laying down then I stood the rake up to start welding the bar on. Got 10 done today will finish the rest tomorrow.

Since it’s to wet for me to work on the next couple of jobs I’ve got on the books to do I’ve had to head west to one of my other jobs.
This regrowth had been pushed down about 6 years ago but never got raked up.
After going around and pushing out the stumps I’m back to raking it up into piles.
I’ll put up some more photos of the job in progress.
