🇳🇱 Another King’s Day celebration in Dhaka, another beautiful reminder of that partnership can really make a difference!

Grateful that RedOrange could once again be a proud sponsor and co-organizer of the King’s Day celebration with the Netherlands Embassy in Bangladesh. 🇳🇱

As a Dutch-Bangladeshi organization, moments like this hit differently. It’s where the “bridge” we often talk about actually comes alive—between countries, between sectors, between people who care about doing things together.

A big thank you to the Embassy team for creating that space so effortlessly. And to everyone we crossed paths with—some familiar, some new—let’s keep the conversations going beyond the evening.

Lang leve de Koning! 😊

🌍Four deltas 🇧🇩🇳🇱🇻🇳🇪🇬. One room. A lot to think about for Bangladesh.

We’re still carrying the energy from our session at the International Conference on Sustainable Development (ICSD) 2026 —

“The Delta Exchange: How the World’s Deltas Communicate – Lessons for Bangladesh.”

As part of our work on Communication, Knowledge Management, and Stakeholder Engagement Support for consolidating the Bangladesh Delta Plan 2100 (BDP 2100), we were happy to host this conversation and bring together voices from across contexts.

What made the discussion stand out was simple:
we weren’t just talking about deltas — we were learning from them.

From the 🇳🇱Netherlands to the 🇻🇳Mekong and the 🇪🇬Nile, each delta carries its own reality of living with water. Different systems, different pressures — but also shared challenges.

And when you put those experiences side by side, something shifts.
The conversation moves from ideas to possibilities.

A big thank you to the panelists who made this exchange so meaningful:

Global voices

🔹Niels van den Berge – Dutch Delta
🔹Jean Henry (Harrie) Laboyrie – Mekong Delta
🔹 Dr. Mohamed Abdelghany – Nile Delta

Bangladesh in dialogue

🔹 Sanwarul Haque
🔹Dr. Farhana Ahmed
🔹Shaikh Muhammad Mehedi Ahsan
🔹Dr. Sara Nowreen, PhD

One thing came through clearly across all contexts:
plans don’t move on their own — people move them.
Effective communication, institutionalization, accepting failure and strong stakeholder engagement are non-negotiable for ensuring an inclusive and accessible Delta Plan.

For us, it was about opening up space — to question, to connect, and to think a bit more honestly about what it will take to make the Bangladesh Delta Plan 2100 (BDP 2100) work in practice.

At RedOrange, we’re glad to be part of these conversations — especially the ones that stay with you after the room is empty.

This World Health Day, let’s stand where it matters most - with science, with care, and with each other.

Measles is preventable, yet it still impacts lives. Recognizing the signs early, protecting our communities, and ensuring every child is vaccinated can make all the difference.

Health is not just personal, it is shared. When we act together, we protect the most vulnerable and build a stronger, healthier future for everyone.

A day out in the field with purpose 🚰✨

On 06 April 2026, the EKN–WASH Partners’ Platform stepped beyond the meeting room and into action with a coordination session followed by a visit to the Pagla Sewerage Treatment Plant (STP).

Led by Inge Klassens, First Secretary (Water & Climate), EKN, and Dr. Shibly Sadik, Senior Policy Advisor, EKN, the day brought together an amazing group of partners—SNV, BRAC, MAX Foundation, Max Tap Water, and RedOrange Limited—for hands-on learning and real conversations.

From exploring how wastewater is treated at Pagla STP to unpacking the challenges of urban faecal sludge management, the visit was full of eye-opening insights. A big shoutout to Executive Engineer Mr. Shihab (DWASA) for breaking it all down so clearly 🙌

But it didn’t stop there—there were some exciting discussions around how the private sector can step in, especially in wastewater solutions and co-compost fertilizer opportunities 🌱

We’re proud to have hosted such a dynamic and meaningful exchange. Thanks to everyone who showed up, shared ideas, and made it count!

On this Independence Day, we remember the courage, resilience, and sacrifices that shaped our nation. A history written with strength and hope continues to guide us forward, reminding us of the responsibility we carry for the future.
May we honor that spirit not just today, but in the way we build, connect, and move ahead together.

This year felt special. Across Bangladesh — from Dhaka to Barishal to Khulna to the Chattogram Hill Tracts — we had the privilege of celebrating International Women’s Day through the Youth Share-Net project supported by AmplifyChange.

In communities with young people, and with partners, we created spaces to talk about equality, voice, and the future we want to build together.

Because we truly believe:
Women should be at the centre of everything.
Back at RedOrange, the celebration became something deeply personal.
Our male colleagues surprised the women in the office with small gifts — but more importantly, with a promise.

We gathered, lit candles, and each candle carried a quiet commitment.
A promise to support women’s leadership.
A promise to listen more.
A promise to create safer and fairer spaces — in our workplaces, in our communities, and in our society.

Sometimes change doesn’t start with big speeches or policies.
Sometimes it begins with a small flame and a promise.

Today we celebrate women.

Tomorrow we continue the work.
Happy International Women’s Day. 💜🕯️

We congratulate Prime Minister Tarique Rahman, the 25 Ministers, and 24 State Ministers on taking oath. This democratic transition marks a moment of opportunity and responsibility for inclusive national progress. We also recognize the role of the Opposition and hope all democratic forces will work together to build a fair, forward-looking, and inclusive Bangladesh.

Red Orange Limited-
