After the procedure of the wood treatment plant the timbers will not be affected by insects or any bacterial attacks within 100 years Insha-Allah. Dr. Ali Mahbub Kuraishi (PHD in Forestry from University of Toronto) is in charge as our head consultant. The Chairman of Architecture Department of Stamford University Bangladesh, Prof. Ali Naqi is the head adviser of interior designing of our Design House. In the entire field of maintaining the caliber of timber treatment and seasoning our specialist Dr. Md. Younus-Uzzaman (M.Sc. in App. Chemical, M.Sc. & DIC in Timber Technology, London, PHD in Pre. Tech.) is assigned with his supreme experience and ability. Akaba Timber has special wood collecting teams both local and international, who are always ready and active to seek out and collect the proper wood for the doors and furniture. We, ourselves are also importing the best appropriate woods from Malaysia, Indonesia, Germany, Burma, New Zealand, Canada and Africa.
