কতদিন, কত রাত জেগে ভোটারদের স্লিপ কখনো লিখেছি, কখনো কিউসি করেছি। আজ প্রযুক্তির ছোঁয়ায় সেই সবকিছুই যেন অতীত। একসময় ভোটারদের বাড়ি বাড়ি গিয়ে ভোটার স্লিপ বিতরণ করার যে আলাদা ভালো লাগা, যে মানবিক স্পর্শ—তা আর নেই। প্রযুক্তি আমাদের কাজের গতি বাড়াচ্ছে ঠিকই, কিন্তু কোথাও যেন কিছু আবেগও কেড়ে নিচ্ছে।

এছাড়াও অ্যাপটিতে রয়েছে নিবন্ধিত রাজনৈতিক দলের তথ্য, নির্বাচনে অংশগ্রহণকারী প্রার্থীদের হলফনামা, নির্বাচন-সংক্রান্ত বিভিন্ন গুরুত্বপূর্ণ তথ্য এবং ফলাফল দেখার সুবিধা। ফলে শুধু ভোটাররাই নয়, সাধারণ মানুষ ও আগ্রহী ব্যক্তিরাও সহজেই নির্বাচন-সম্পর্কিত প্রয়োজনীয় তথ্য সংগ্রহ করতে পারবেন।

অ্যাপটি একবার ইনস্টল করার পর জন্মতারিখ এবং ভোটার আইডি কার্ড নম্বর প্রদান করলে সংশ্লিষ্ট সব তথ্য জানা যাবে। এর মধ্যে রয়েছে—বর্তমানে কোন নম্বর পার্লামেন্ট নির্বাচন চলছে, আপনার ভোটার আইডি নম্বর, আপনি কোন ভোটকেন্দ্রে ভোট দিতে পারবেন, সেই কেন্দ্রের নাম ও ঠিকানা, এবং আপনার ভোট দেওয়ার সিরিয়াল নম্বর।
