LOUNGE CHAIRS BY GEORGES VAN RIJCK FOR BEAUFORT, 50S

Fabulous lounge chairs designed by Georges van Rijck and manufactured by Beaufort, Belgium 1955. This chair has slim solid nickel plated steel legs. It’s newly upholstered with grey fabric that fits the period perfectly. A nice dark grey fabric with grey veins running through. The lounge chair is signed with the original metal Beaufort tag. Stunning lounge chair which seats very comfortable. Beaufort was one of the better quality furniture manufacturers from Belgium at that time. Georges van Rijck was the head of design and designed most of the items. This high quality lounge chair is a rare piece in Belgium modernism and hard to find. It looks really stunning in any modern interior.

Louis van Teeffelen for Wébé Side table, 60s
A very nice little side / TV table designed by Louis van Teeffelen for Wébé. This asymmetric side table has a floating table top and a little cabinet with a sculptural handle. This one has black enameled legs. We know it's not original. But it was such a good combination that we did not restored it to it's original wooden color. We can bring it back to original at no extra charge. It is still in a wonderful condition with just little traces of usage. Dutch design at his best.

Pair of mirrors by Emil Stejnar for Rupert Nikoll, 50s
Elegant pair illuminated floral round mirrors were designed by Emil Stejnar. Stejnar was one of the most important lamp and lighting designers who worked for the Viennese lamp manufacturer Rupert Nikoll. These illuminated mirrors have 3 rows of crystal flowers on white flower stems. The light reflects beautifully trough the crystal flowers on the wall. Behind the glass mirror finds a round fluorescent lamp. All the crystal flowers are intact, no missing parts. One of the 2 mirrors has some decoloration wear.

T4 dining table designed by Alfred Hendrickx for Belform, 50s
The most beautiful dining table designed by Alfred Hendrickx and produced by Belform in de mid 50s. Very hard to find in any condition. This one has little user marks according to it's age. As a collector, it came across only a few times in more than 25 years. The black lacquered organic shaped wooden legs have a very elegant appeal. The beautiful wood grain table top is made of bubinga veneer. The T4 dining table is extendable so it's nice to have a bit of elbow room at this 10-seater dining table. W***y Van der Meeren F1 chair
This all original F1 relax chair was designed by Belgian designer W***y Van Der Meeren for Tubax in the early 1950s. It has a black lacquered frame with a wooden seat and backrest covered with red vinyl. This F1 armchair is a complete original of 1952. It is an old edition with ribbed original red vinyl. Some mild stains can be found on the seating and the backrest, which are not removable. Look at the detailed pictures for more details. Overal the chair is in very good condition.The metal base has been cleaned thoroughly and provided with a new black coating.

Stilnovo floor lamp 1950s
A very rare fabulously stunning italian floor lamp made by Stilnovo in the 1950s. Nicely plied brass black lacquered tubes with 3 lampshades at the end of each bend. The black pole rests on an white marble base. This lamp has some older restorations. The black and red lampshade are once repainted, but they perfectly blend in. The grey one is in original condition and has the old Stilnovo waterslide. This lamp is in nice vintage condition. PM ME FOR MORE INFO

Stunning mid century Italian side table, 1950s. An exceptional mid century 1950s Italian, Turin area, free-form side table with yellow and red table tops. The formica table tops are attached to an aluminium casted black metal frame finished by brass pivot feet. The metal base is beautiful shaped and the atomic age design was inspired by the beginning of space exploration in the 1950´s. This little table with it's exceptional design stands out from the crowd. Never seen it before.
