The Continental Chair is crafted from reclaimed wood sourced exclusively from Mechelen, a city with a rich heritage in furniture. The materials, ranging from European oak to American walnut and African padoek, symbolize a fusion of worldwide origins. This chair embodies the idea that what may be considered local waste can contribute to a global narrative. It stands as a powerful statement against racism, illustrating that diverse elements can come together to create something exceptionally beautiful - just as our multicultural society can.
