A rare antique from the Silk Road, dating back to c. 1890–1920.

Originally from Xinjiang, China, this exceptional low sideboard dates from the late Qing Dynasty / early Republic period. Its long, low proportions, aged solid wood, original patina and hand-forged iron ring handles give it an unmistakable character.

Beautifully combining Central Asian and traditional Chinese influences, it makes a striking statement in both classic and contemporary interiors.
