Stray dogs are becoming a major problem in Bahrain, with many owners releasing them onto the street and allowing them to breed and multiply. The main concern is that the dog itself may spread fleas and rabies, a deadly disease that can be easily carried on to humans. A dog infected with rabies is extremely dangerous to humans, especially children.

In addition to that, dogs can cause collisions when it runs onto the road, causing severe harm to itself and others if hit by a vehicle. They often roam in packs which cause a threatening feeling, dogfights over territory and the barking and howling caused by those isn’t something you want to hear in the middle of the night.

We at Star Group Pest Control can solve your stray dog problems by sending our trained technicians to catch these threats from your residential area. Call us on (33015345) for a free inspection for stray dogs and other annoying pests.

Termites are among the most dangerous pests. Their colonies have the ability to eat non-stop, 24 hours a day, 7 days a week and can also chew through wood, plastics, floors, insulation and more. It is estimated that termites cause more than $5 billion in property damage in the USA alone.

The most destructive of these are also the most common in Bahrain: the Subterranean Termites.

Scorpions are arachnids related to spiders, mites and ticks. Out of the 1,500 known species, only 25 of them can kill humans with their venom, but the rest have neurotoxins that can cause convulsions and shortness of breath.

They are very common in the Middle East due to the dry climate. The Androctonus australis (pictured) in particular is quite aggressive and it's venom is especially deadly to the children and elderly.

Scorpions do not leave signs of infestation other than visual sightings, so call us for a free inspection on (33015345) and let us help ease your worries.

American cockroaches are extremely common in Bahrain's hot climate. They have a tendency to eat anything they can get including insects and plants, but they have a preference towards decaying organic matter.

Their habitat of choice is anywhere that is warm, wet and dark, such as basements. They are dangerous because they can carry germs and bacteria on their legs and backs to spread them around the house as they forage, and their droppings and shed skin can trigger allergic reactions such as asthma in children.

Interesting fact: A cockroach can live up to one week without its head.

Call us now on (33015345) to schedule your free inspection for cockroaches and other pests.

Rats have long been known as one of the most dangerous pests to humans. Their ability to chew on just about anything coupled with being carriers of disease means that keeping them out of your house is a top priority.
Common signs of having a rat infestation are rat droppings & rub marks along the objects and surfaces they repeatedly brush against. If you’re in doubt, call us on (33015345) to schedule your free inspection for your home or workplace so that we can put your mind at ease.

While considered harmless, the house lizard is an unwanted pest in many households. They don’t attack people, and their droppings are minimal (but is still a threat if touched by bare hands), so why are they recognized as dangerous threats that needs to be neutralized?

The real reason people don’t feel comfortable with a lizard is because it’s a lizard. It scurries about in high speeds and effortlessly sticks to walls and ceilings. It appears out of nowhere and disappears into nowhere. Many people don’t like that! So if you have those pesky critters running around, give us a call on (33015345) and we will arrange a free inspection for your home or workplace.
