Our Story
MCC Community Enterprises (MCC CE), a company owned by Mennonite Central Committee British Columbia (MCC BC), is a collection of social enterprises that each offer a unique response to social need. Through our enterprises we tackle issues of unemployment, poverty and marginalization and at the same time, a portion of our profits goes to supporting the relief, development, peace and justice work of MCC BC both locally and globally.
MCC CE was formed in 2015, though two of our social enterprises have been around for more than 25 years. We employ around 90 people in the retail, food & hospitality, employment services and landscaping sectors.
Agora Employment Essentials - Employment services for people in employment transition.
Common Place Cafe - Located in the MCC Centre in downtown Abbotsford, Common Place Café features quality home-style breakfast and lunch dishes.
