I was hired to paint a piano this weekend and I absolutely love how it turned out!
My client chose the beautiful color Bellwood by . After a quick scuff sand and clean, it was ready for paint.
The piano received two coats, and painting around the keys was definitely the trickiest part. I held the keys down with one hand while using a tiny brush to carefully paint behind them.
The clients originally hoped to keep the logo on the front, but it had to be painted over. Before starting, I took a photo of the piano company name so I could recreate the logo afterward.
This piano dates back to the early 1900s, and it was so special to give it a fresh, updated look while still honoring its history. Now it makes such a beautiful statement piece in their home.
