Cabinet delivery / Cabinet maker

We have two position's available working on our cabinet assembling line.

Responsibilities and expectations are:

· Previous experience not required but could be an asset. Training available within

· Have at least a minimum basic knowledge of hand tools and ability to use a table saw.

· Primary role would be loading and delivering cabinets from our shop to the job site. Other duties would include learning and building cabinets, drawer boxes and other misc tasks with the shop to ensure you receive a 40 hour work week

· Be able to work independently and with our existing team.

· Learn our systems in place and safety protocols.

· Steel toe shoes are required.

· Positive attitude, ability to work well with others, a good work ethic and a willingness to learn new things.

· Permanent position offered.

Our list of work we do includes all types of tenant improvements in commercial spaces specializing in dental offices as well as custom homes and spec homes. Our website has a variety of examples of past projects. Applicant will be required to quote, measure, draw in autocad and run sites through the install process.

Requirements:
• Ideal candidate to have a very good knowledge of the cabinet making field
• Past experience in project managing and drawing in Autocad is a must
• Excellent communication & telephone skills.
• The ability to produce / edit AutoCAD drawings
• Strong computer/typing skills MS Office programs including Word and Excel.
• An interest in longer term employment
• Valid driver’s license

We are a high-quality millwork shop looking for a positive energetic person to join our fast-paced team of millwork drafts people & CNC programmers for a long-term full-time position. Responsibilities will include producing millwork shop drawings using AutoCAD. Drawings would include floor plans, elevations, and sections, and details of various millwork items.

The applicant would also be trained to use Mozaik to produce CNC code and paperwork packages for shop production.

Training on drawing standards will be provided on site.

The applicant is required to:
- have basic knowledge and understanding of Autocad.
- have a good knowledge of using Microsoft Windows and the ability of keeping files organized.
- Ability to read and understand ID and architectural drawings.
- Basic knowledge of cabinet construction is required
- Some millwork shop experience is an asset.
- Experience with Mozaik software is an asset.
- CNC programming or operating experience is an asset.
- Ability to work independently.
- Good organizational skills.
- Must be able to read and write and speak English fluently.
- Ability to communicate ideas clearly.
- Good attention to detail is required.
- Ability to follow instructions.
- Ability to work with others in a team environment.
- Strong willingness to learn AutoCAD, Mozaik, & Millwork.

Wages: Depending on Experience.
Benefits: After three months.
Schedule: Monday – Friday 7am -3:30pm, with occasional overtime required.
Job Types: Full-time, Permanent
Salary: $20.00-$30.00 per hour
